The setting
The foundation stone of this haveli was laid by Shri Seva Ram Ji in 1735, in response to Sawai Jai Singh II's royal summons. Located in the heart of Jaipur's walled city, it began as a jewellery gaddi in the lively Chaura Rasta, growing into a family sanctuary across seven generations. The haveli is named in honour of our grandmother, Shrimati Padmaa Devi Shah — fondly known as Amma. Her warmth transformed this space into a cherished home.
